As uncerimonious as this post is, it's over. This blog is now closed as of December 31, 2025. No new posts will be made, nor will any comments be accepted after this date.
As you have read in the September post, it is no viable for continue making all these high-mileage trips for the purposes of this blog, nor do I have the motivation to write about the places I visit. Plus, there is not much going on or going for the area I live in, so the best decision for me going forward is to wind down.
While I had stated that I might have a non-tour retail post at the end of year, it simply has not come to be. I also have a supermarket in my general area that is liquidating, but due to its unceremonious nature, I do not see it fit to post here.
Even though I do intend to continue running the UNY Carts blog, its future is uncertain as my prediction is that there will not be many carts photographed going forward.
Again, I want to express gratitude for those who have read my blog, and hope for your support and understanding of this decision. I hope to see you on the UNY Carts blog as well as the Ames Fan Club Forums for all other retail discussion.
