So Tiny! Tops of Chestertown, NY

For the time being, I will be going through the archives and posting some supermarket locations covered over the past couple of years.

What we will be seeing here is a cute little Tops store in Chestertown, NY. All pictures taken on February 21, 2018.

Look at that roofline! It spans the entire width of the building. One of many Adirondack Grand Union stores to become Tops in 2001, Grand Union Family Markets in 2006, and back to Tops in 2013.

3 checkouts! All of which contain their original Grand Union light covers. UPDATE: These light covers have since been replaced with the white triangular ones.

In these smaller stores, the first aisle combines produce on the wall and condiments on the other side of the aisle.

Meat and Deli in the back.

Crowded frozen foods and beer aisle.

Some of these stores kept their rusty Unarco shopping carts from their first run as Tops. Unlike the other ones that did, these are smaller, and dated 2-03.
