Today on FLASH BACK, we go back to March 12, 2018 to another Runnings fully occupying a former Wal-Mart space.
This store was originally Wal-Mart #1673, which opened in mid-1992 and would eventually relocate c. 2006 up the hill to the east of this building. Runnings opened this store in 2014 as part of their Northeastern expansion.
It is not apparent if it were Wal-Mart or Runnings who gave this vestibule carpet. Also noticeable is one of the original ceiling fans is still present.
Oddly they chose to tile this store instead of exposing the concrete like most other locations.
