Today on FLASH BACK, we go back to June 26, 2017 to a Price Chopper that would eventually close after 55 years in operation. The store is located in the middle of Glens Falls, New York.
This rare pitched-roof building was home to Price Chopper #6 from 1962 to July 29, 2017. No doubt this dates back to the Central Market era.
As soon as you entered, the service desk was to your right (technically the front). Notice the checkstand lights are of the older 1990s/2000s variety compared to the post-2007 decor. Produce would have been to your left.
Cutting through one of the aisles to reveal the meat department in the back of the store.
